Jan Robinson, as the principal of Jan Robinson Midwifery Education Services runs courses on behalf of the University of Western Sydney, the University of New England University Partnerships and the NSW Midwives Association.

Also available are tailor-made workshops on Perineal Care and Repair and Midwifery Challenges which Jan conducts for individual maternity hospitals, universities and midwifery groups who request them.

__Jan's Formal Qualifications Include:__

• Master of Midwifery from University of Western Sydney.

• Bachelor of Applied Science from the Cumberland College of Health Sciences (now University of Sydney).

• University of Sydney Diploma in Nursing Education from the NSW College of Nursing (now The College of Nursing).

• Fellow of the Australian College of Midwives and an accredited VETAB workplace assessor.

Jan is currently limiting her practice to no more than twenty clients annually to maintain a balance of quality midwifery care and quality education services. Her clientele are mostly women planning to have home births or birth centre births.

Major projects undertaken during the last three years include the production of self-directed learning packages for midwifery students or midwives who want to refresh their skills. These include:
