This hotel was outside a small village, Trachgau, and featured three artificial grass tennis courts, one indoors, and a pool underground. It was just out of sight of Neuschwanstein Castle.
The storms appearing over the mountains did not eventuate that night, but it poured the next evening.
The hotel is the white dot in the centre.

This cheerful gentleman appeared during our second dinner, and was apparently astonished when we went off to bed about 9pm, as he was used to going until 5am. He spoke no English, so there was some communication problem!
It began to rain about the time we were retiring.
