General

The Melbourne Dreamteam game was held end of September and resulted in a draw 26 : 26. Doncaster had 4 representatives in the two teams which is a great testament to the talent within our team. Henry Kauthen, Travis Hardman and Tony Christensen played for the Dreamteam B whilst Mark Blaser (goalkeeper) played for the Dreamteam A.

Finals Schedule

The schedule for the final rounds of this season is much better. We only have one bye in round 5, whereas the qualifying round draw was certainly not working in our favour with 3 weeks off in a row during a crucial period. However, we are qualified for the A series finals despite a mixed performance during qualification.

Coaching

Dado Dedic has accepted the position as senior coach. Dado has a great deal of confidence in the team and our potential to become one of the strongest teams in the competition. He will commence his work on the 18th of October.

Women's Team

Doncaster is starting its women's team in January 1998. We already have received strong interest and are going to advertise for women's players to register for our team. If you are interested please contact

Injury Worries

This year's qualifying series has taken its toll on the Doncaster line up. An extended injury list includes Henry Kauthen, Travis Hardman and Mark Blaser.
