1998 Australian Handball Federation National Championships

The Doncaster Omegamen National Championship team proved themselves to be seriously competitive on a National level.  The team had one loss against Sydney University (by two goals) one draw against Queensland University and two wins. Hill were defeated by 2 goals and City of Melbourne by 6 goals. After an exciting few moments where it was thought Doncaster was in the finals it was announced that they had missed out by 1% point. Well done to all, especially Terry Costas and Travis Hardman who were both awarded "All Australian Player" trophies.
