Before The Vinyl Solution [frequency analysis]

The file below is as it was recorded, straight from the jumble sale.Very dirty, very nasty. The brown to red peaks on the right is the Surface Noise which runs right through the entire file..(the Time Line...0-13 secs.) The coloured peaks is the amplitude [volume] It's easy to see that the Surface Noise is almost as loud as the source material. The exaggerated peaks I suspect are Static Electricity explosions. The Vinyl Solution cannot repair badly damaged vinyl.

After The Vinyl Solution [frequency analysis]

The file below has been treated with The Vinyl Solution. It's easy to see that the Surface Noise has been dramatically reduced BEHIND the source material, therefore drastically cleaning up the source material.

After The Vinyl Solution + Pristine Sounds [frequency analysis]

The file below has been run through Pristine Sounds 2000. There's almost nil Surface Noise here, which would make this file which was once virtually unlistenable, into a file which would be regarded as more than acceptable.

Before The Vinyl Solution [graphic snapshot]

The graph below a snapshot in Pristine Sounds 2000 of the original wav file...untreated.Very dirty....very nasty. The exaggerated clicks I suspect are Static Electricity explosions, as The Vinyl Solution cannot repair a damaged recording.

After The Vinyl Solution [graphic snapshot]

The graph below tells us that the Static Electricity along with the Surface Noise has been dramatically reduced.

After The Vinyl Solution + Pristine Sounds [graphic snapshot]

The graph below tells us that with a little processing with Pristine Sounds, or any other .wav editor, this file is now more than acceptable .
