Saturday 7th of June 2008 a number of members of the Gympie Club were out arrowing the track for the following weekend.
They were joined by a number of 'Arrowers' from the MTRCB. Light rain became heavy rain that did not stop.
By lunchtime the conditions had become ridiculous. The ground had become extremely slippery and it was difficult for
experienced riders to get up even the slightest of hills. It was now becoming impossible for conventional 2 wheel drive cars
to be able to drive in or out of the property. The decision was made (with the rain continuing to belt down) to abandon the
arrowing before someone got hurt or lost with no prospect of being able to bring in any emergency personnel in the short term.

The entire arrowing process was now so far behind schedule that it has been considered impossible to have the track fully
arrowed and timed ready for the event next weekend. Reluctantly the QESC has had no choice other than to postpone another event
with the new date being September 27/28th.
