Magnetic Island - How to Get There from Townsville

Just 8 kilometres off-shore, Magnetic Island is a short trip across the sheltered waters of Cleveland Bay. Access is by passenger ferry, car/passenger ferry, or water taxi.

The passenger ferry makes up to 14 return trips daily and the car/passenger ferry up to 6 return trips daily.
The water taxi is available on an "as needed basis" and prior arrangement is required.
