This one of the ones that didn't get away

As I haven't been fishing along time here in Queensland and the style I am use to. In Madang, Papua New Guinea I always fished from a boat. The first boat was one I was selling for my father. 14'6" Caribeen Navigator with a 60 hp Mercury on the back. wahoo Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the fish caught from it. Sold the boat for dad and was a year or so later that my friends and I brought a fibreglass Marlin Broadbill 17 footer powered by a 90 hp Johnson. this boat was designed for fishing, game fishing. Well, me mates and I trolled and bottomed fished again no photos until I brought my own tinnie. 17'6" De havilland Trojan. This was by far the best boat I ever owned (so far). It was laid out as not only did we fish we also scuba dived. The boat had to suit both worlds and carry passengers on those picnic days over on the islands. the picture above is of me in the Trojan.Well this page is suppose to be about fishing. As the species are a little different to what I caught in PNG I have searched the net and found a couple of sites which has helped me. Most people want to catch fish and local knowledge can't be beaten for this.
As I research more for this page I will update with useful information or links.
