What is a friend? Is it someone who you can rely on at all times no matter what has happened? Someone you can confide in. Would you die for a friend? JESUS did! And not only for those that were close to him but for ALL OF US.
How often do we talk with Jesus as if He was standing next to us. I know I do it. When things seem to be getting out of hand ( believe me, in my job that can happen at anytime) I think of Him
and the burdens seem to be lifted and what seemed a major problem becomes a simple task. What a friend I have in Jesus. He knows my inner most thoughts, my weaknesses, my likes and dislikes. He even shares my sorrows and tears with me. Sometimes I forget that He is there and yet, He is always there for me, How do I know this, the last part of Matthew : 28:20 lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
I John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
