I mentioned to a work colleague that I was trying natural remedies to cure my flu. He throught that he would help me by giving me some crystals. Not knowing where or what these crystal were, I accepted them (I put them under the blood of Jesus). I never brought them into my house until I had found out more about them. They had a Hindu god connection. They have now been trashed.
How often do we as Christians bring things into our homes without thinking. The scriptures tell us to be careful about bring things into our homes. Even a simple painting or picture, magazine and even some ( so called ) Christian literature should only be brought into your house after covering them in the Blood of Jesus. Why? Because there is one who would want to draw us away from the Lord Jesus. In the most subtle way and would we co-operate?
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Even our first parents were easy deceived, so we must be always on our guard against things that don't pertain to God.
