Diamonds and Pearls Autism Charity Ball
Saturday 1st March 2008
The Diamonds and Pearls Autism Charity Ball was held in the Grand ballroom of the Burswood Entertainment Complex on Saturday 1stMarch 2008.
Guests
danced the night away to the music performed by The Western Australian
Detachment of the Royal Australian Navy Band with a
terrific floor show by Goodfellaz.
A large array of Silent Auction items attracted a lot of attention - from a signed and framed large photo of Casey Stoner, the MotoGP champion to a signed LP and mini-replica guitar as used by KISS on stage to a pair of Danny Green signed Boxing Gloves, and much much more.
Danni Stefanetti featured as a special guest - she came along to sing live for the first time, The Spectrum, lyrics written by Stephanie Brown and set to music written by Danni herself. A beautiful performance.
All profits will go to Autism Solutions Incorporated for the provision and continuance of activities and programs that promote fuller lives for children with autism and their families.
"Autism Awareness Lunchtime Concert in Forrest Place"
On Wednesday 14 May 2008, Autism Solutions Incorporated hosted an Autism awareness event in Forrest Place.
Danni Stefanetti sang "The Spectrum" and a large range of her other songs. The lunchtime crowd were easily attracted Danni's vibrant music and also listened to the speakers and purchased Autism awareness merchandise. Balloons and stickers were given away free to the crowd.
Bronte Count read a story about what it's
like to live with Autism and Leanne (Bronte's Mum) read a
story about being a parent with a child on the Autism Spectrum.

We sincerely thank Counselor Chris Hardy from The City of Perth and Barbara McNaught from Women's Momentum Forum who both addressed the crowd on the day, and Mr Jon Lewis from 6PR who was generously our Compare with flair.
