Stadium Australia Olympic Park, Homebush Bay (short walk to Olympic Station). Capacity 110,000. Built 1998.
Parramatta Stadium Off O'Connel Street, Parramatta (north of the Parramatta R. and 1km from station) Capacity: 20,000 seated and total about 30,000. Built mid 1980's. Good view of game. Surface variable. Rugby League ground.
Sydney Football Stadium, Driver Avenue, Centennial Park, capacity 45,000 plus. Bay 23 is the place to be.
The other grounds used are: Gabbie Stadium, Quinn Ave, Seven Hills (Oceania WC playoffs 1997); Melbourne Cricket Ground (Nov 29, 1997) v. the 3rd Asian WC Round team for admission to the WC Finals in France 98.

3. Bruce Stadium , Battye Street, Bruce, Belconnen, ACT, Club: Canberra Cosmos Capacity: 23,000 Year built: 1977, being upgraded for Olympics 2000, (near Australian Institute of Sport),
4. Marconi Stadium, Marconi Road, Bossley Park, NSW (adjoins the excellent Club Marconi, and has good parking but public transport poor) Club: Marconi-Fairfield Stallions Capacity: 9-10,000, seating about 7,000, Year built: 1963
5. Knights Park, Somers Street, North Sunshine, VIC. Club: Melbourne Knights Capacity: 10,000, seating 3,200, Year built: 1989 and upgraded.
6. Mobil (Falcons) Park , Crinigan Road, Morwell, VIC. Club: Gippsland Falcons Capacity: 12,000, Year built: 1981, new stand 1995.
7. Breakers Stadium, Austral Park, 104 Sandgate Rd., Birmingham Gardens, NSW 2287; (02) 4951.2722, Fax (02) 4950.1712
Club: Newcastle Breakers, Capacity: 10-12,000, seating approx. 3,000, See: Rowdies Hill - several hundred standing singing, chanting fan(atic)s. Year built: 1970. The Austral Sports Club (licensed) is on site. Good drink (incl. beer) and food outlets.
