My name is John Short and I live at Nathan in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia with my wife Yvonne and sundry pets.

I am the great, great grandson of John Short who arrived in New South Wales on 9 July 1829 aboard the Waterloo. John, who was born c1803 in Tingwick, Buckinghamshire, England, was convicted of stealing in a dwelling-house in Pinner, Middlesex and was transported beyond the seas.
My aims are
