  3 inch Mortar British  
 

THE 3 INCH mortar was descended from the WWI Stokes 3 inch mortar. It fired a 10lb (4.5kg) high explosive (HE) bomb.

There were two main variants:

Mk1 range 1600yds (1460m)

Mk2 range 2800yds (2560m)
