  2/32 Australian Infantry Battalion Australia  
 

THE FIRST troops of the 2/32 arrived in Tobruk Harbour aboard the Chakla on 28 April 1941. Shortly after they disembarked the Chakla was sunk by Axis aircraft. The remainder of the battalion did not arrive until 4 May 1941.

The 2/32 was formed in the Britain in 1940 from the 18th Brigade.
