  15th Panzer Division Germany  
  15 PANZER DIVISION was created from units of the 10th Panzer Division in August 1940. It arrived in Tripoli between April and June 1941. It's leading panzer arm was Panzer Regiment 8. It's main units:
  • Panzer Regiment 8
  • Panzerjäger Abteilung 33
  • Infanterie Regiment 115
  • Artillerie Regiment 33
  • Aufklärungs Abteilung 33

It's first commander was General Heinrich von Prittwitz und Graffon. He was killed at Kilometre 16 just outside Tobruk on 10 April 1941.

 26 April 1941- Lead elements of 15 Panzer Division reach Benghazi.
