Notable Cornish Women

A paper was accepted for this Seminar and it was entitled The Bal Gal of Cobar.

A great deal of information had been collected since 1995 about Sidwell Woolcock and her sisters. With much assistance from several people who are named in the paper, Sidwell's forebears in Cornwall were found, together with the names of her siblings. The trip across South Australia from Clare to the eastern State of NSW and north across the Rivers Murrumbidgee and Lachlan to Gilgunnia is presented.

You can read this story by using the link to The Bal Gal of Cobar.
