Writer, director and actor Ian McFadyen commenced performing stand-up and sketch comedy in the early Eighties. He formed a team out of the most talented people he met along the way  which later became The Comedy Company.

Ian's own roles on the show included the newsreader, the Husband in the Couple in Bed sketches (below, left) and David Rabbitborough (above left) the British naturalist who examined every aspect of Australian life from a scientific point of view.
