Where we live

We live in Pymble, a northern suburb of Sydney, Australia.

Sydney has a population of 4 million and Australia's population is 18 million.

Our house backs onto a National Park, so there are lots of birds and trees around - a nice place to live. We are also 20 minutes drive from the site for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

  • It never snows in Sydney, but it gets really hot in Summer (the roads melt). See what the weather is like now.
  • When we want to see a koala or kangaroo, we go to the zoo (that's the only place we'll see them around here).
  • Sydney is Australia's largest city, but Canberra is the country's capital.
  • The next Olympic Games will be in Sydney.
  • If you want to know what's happening tomorrow, phone someone in Sydney - we are at least half a day ahead of most of the world. Check out what time it is now.
  • Sydney is Australia's oldest city, but 220 years ago it didn't exist.
