The Hobart Presbyterian Care for the Aged committee, established at St Johns in 1987, aims to provide Christian care and relief for older members of our community. It has purchased about 8 hectares of gently sloping land at Rokeby close to shopping and service facilities. It is intended to build a residential care complex there after council upgrades of services are completed. At the moment the committee is fund raising towards this end and welcomes any donations.
