This week, Nicole Nicole Herrick of Albury, NSW, Australia has her say on Human Nature's latest effort.

HOW STUPID DO THEY THINK WE ARE?

The other morning as I waited for my two slices to pop up , I turned on the TV and was pleased to see a video clip show on. As I watched bleary eyed, I noticed a Human Nature video clip come on for their new song 'He Don't Love You'.

I immediately dropped my toast and was transfixed on the TV. Hang on a minute, is this Human Nature or Nsync? Was it just me or was this new song of Human Nature's eerily similar to Nsync's Bye Bye Bye. As I continued to watch the clip, I had no choice but to burst out laughing when I saw that their dance moves were also almost identical to Nsync's.

Oh I get it , I thought to myself , They're taking off Nsync. As the song ended I blinked a few times and finally accepted the reality that it was not a take off.

This frightening realisation has been on my mind for the past few days. Has Human Nature gone completely mad? Was this blunder really a diabolical scheme thought up by Human Nature's songwriters and choreographers in order to sabotage the group? Or does the Australian Music Industry simply believe that we are a bunch of mindless zombies that will buy anything that is throw in front of us and labeled popular ?

I understand that Human Nature's management have pulled a lot of strings to get the group back in to the public spotlight, having seen them appear on Neighbours and Search for a Supermodel. However I guarantee people will not be applauding but laughing. Australia has some great talent these days.

Take for example Powderfinger and Killing Heidi who are both slowly being recognised worldwide for their unique sounds. Perhaps the industry should put more effort into promoting and supporting our unique artists rather than cloning American Boy Bands and trying to palm them off as talent.
