This project runs along similar lines to the hEARd Regional Areas project, with the exception that the educational version will concentrate on individual educational institutions such as schools, colleges, universities & the like.

Nearly 12 months after it's conception, hEARd hopes to involve as many educational institutions as possible in the project, so here's what it's all about.

Almost every educational organisation has an interest in music of some form, whether it's a primary school's students interest in their favourite songs on the top 40 or a Music Colleges' students & teachers interest in the music industry & their relevant projects & courses. This project aims to allow these institutions to promote themselves as well as their aims.

As such, hEARd wants each interested school, college, university or other organisation, to create their own version of hEARd, with information focussing on their own institution. Whether it's just a list of the most popular music at a school, or full information on music education options etc.., your organisation can create a version of hEARd tailored to your own institution.

But of course, although your localised hEARd site will focus on music, we want you to provide as much information on your instituion's other activities as possible, such as the local area it's situated, relations with the community etc...
