Plans are under way for another Roller Skating Reunion ... this time we will be including all the past members from Skateland (Southport), Miami Rink and Gold Coast Rollerland (Coolangatta). This event will take place in the new millennium, either the years 2001 or 2003, depending on the success of finding people and their availability to travel.
Everyone will hopefully receive at least two years notice, by post, confirming the Date and Location for the event. This should be enough time for our Interstate and Overseas skating friends to make arrangements for travel to the Gold Coast.
Presently there are over 475 names on the contact list, so please assist by having a look. There have been 175 skaters being added to the initial 1998 list .... around 250 have already been located, another 30 or more are near to located ..... over 120 skaters attended the June 1998 reunion, with another 40 wishing they could have come but unable due to other committments.
If you find that you are not on the list, or that there is someone that you know that should be there, then please let me know. The hardest part to this organising will be finding most of these past members, so if you know the whereabouts of someone that I've missed, then please assist me with their contact details.

The 1998 reunion was such a success, both in attendance and enjoyment, that many wished to have another one as soon as possible. Some skaters suggested in a years time, a little too soon for those that have to travel, but suitable for anyone still living locally.
Details on a possible yearly event will be posted here as soon as discussions are finalised. For now, there are unofficial biweekly get togethers on Thursday nights at Skaters Paradise (Bay St. Southport).
