The Nine News Gold Coast Bureau is located in the middle of Surfers Paradise, and consists of a fulltime staff of seventeen people (including six ENG cameraman and seven reporters).

We produce a local thirty minute News Bulletin (Monday to Friday, 5:30pm) as well as providing packaged stories and live cross capability to the National News programs of the Nine Network.

Our facilities include a fully equiped studio which has an attached balcony (17th floor) that can used for live crosses. We also have a Live Link truck set up for on-the-scene live crosses for up to three people, and tape playback.

The area covered by the Nine Gold Coast Bureau has a population of around 500,000 people. All members of the team are rostered to cover the seven days of the week, and be available for call outs around the clock.
