Club Meeting Place
Membership Fees & Club Supporters
Normally the club meets are on the second Sunday of each month. See Page 1 for the dates.
The meeting place is The Turramurra Seniors Hall, 1 Gilroy St, Turramurra. It is 3-5
minutes from Turramurra Train Station on the city-bound side. The hall is next door to the
Turramurra Meals on Wheels which is behind the shops. When driving from the Hornsby-bound
side of the Highway, turn left at the set of lights just over the railway bridge.
When coming from the city, turn right at the same lights (just before the bridge).

for changes to meeting dates.
The club always attempts to keep the membership fees low, however this is not always
possible to the degree we would like, but the larger the membership the cheaper the Fees
can be. The Hall rental fees go up every 6 months (by about 5%-6%) and Sydney is the most
expensive city in Australia for renting or for that fact buying.
The club fees are costed to cover the hall rental for all meetings. Many clubs do not
charge as much because they choose to have less meetings and the Public Liability
Insurance (which is very nearly killing the club can not be avoided) is included in their
rental fee.
We feel that players should have as many opportunities as possible to game in their chosen
hobby and not let some d***heads say we are an insurance risk, which runs the possibility
of the hobby dying to the point of a few comps and games at people's homes and no
interaction between the varied wargaming types.
