Hi
all,
I have enjoyed spending a bit of time at home with the dogs to the point that I am starting to feel like one of the pack. Speaking of dogs, (the K9 variety), I got to perform at the National Greyhound Championships at Sandown Park Race Course this month.

Nothing like
seeing skinny dogs run around the track trying to
catch a fake bunny rabbit.
Makes you wonder what is so appealing about that rabbit? I thought I would check it out.
To be honest, it was a bit on the tough side. We were then told we had to wear these if we were to go onto the track.

I did have fun though, performing in between races.
This month some close friends of ours got hitched. Angie and Aaron tied the knot and Michael and I were part or the bridal party, party being the operative word for 24 bridesmaids and groomsmen.

It was such a big wedding we all had to clamber into a double decker bus to get to the reception.

The whole event was a blast from start to finish and as far as couples go, these two beautiful nutters were made for each other.
l also got to perform in another aerial harness gig at Telstra Dome in Melbourne. It was a sit down dinner for 5500 Woolworths employees and "Ice House" were performing along with 8 of us doing some aerial antics among other things. We had a bit of running man action.

Some group corset work, suck in that gut girls!

And for those that remember Miss Qatar from Doha, she has made a come-back appearance.

The gig was good fun, even though just before we got up to perform we were advised we should be aware that, preempting our performance, there would be a deployment of very loud and bright firecrackers, an ignition of flame throwers on either side of us (great when you are wrapped in tulle, pig on a spit roast comes to mind), a simultaneous fire works display, bubble machines spewing forth an endless supply of bubbles and thick red billowing smoke effects.
Now if that's not bad enough they placed us behind a huge stage and two giant speaker stacks just to make it more difficult to see us. You have got to love these corporate gigs.
It all went spectacularly well in the end and now I am looking forward to next month when I head off to Mexico for the Festival Internacional Tamaulipas. I must admit I am getting itchy feet and it was high time I got back on a plane.
All the best,
Georgie
