First though to Hanover New Hampshire and Dartmouth College. We ran some workshops for kids and adults, not up the poles mind you, but on the ground. It was a lot of fun and the kids and adults who took part in the workshops were amazing. They really got into it and there were some talented individuals out there.

The next day we performed in the sun and it was wonderful to see so many people turn out for such a small town.

Being a University town they were well versed in the arts and for the first time in the companies history we were supplied with a wardrobe mistress (Rebecca), who looked after our costumes by washing, steaming and ironing them. This was a real luxury. We got to stay in one of the most comfortable hotels on tour yet and were very well looked after. Here we are doing one of our routines.



Next day we got on a plane and we were off to Reno.



We are staying at John Ascuaga's Nugget.







Here is the view from my room on the 17th Floor. You can see the mountains in the distance and the railway yard near the hotel.



For some weird reason I have been put up in a Handicapped room and check out this sign next to my door. Still not complaining because the room is big, the view is great and if there is a fire I will get assistance in my area quick smart.



Who is John Ascuaga? I'm glad you asked. Here he is and he owns the place. Started off in the restaurant business and then turned the resort into a casino. He runs it with his family and on the first night of our stay we happened, by chance, to meet him while having a drink. Seems like a nice enough guy.



Went downtown and checked out some sights. Witnessed a wedding with the bridal waltz happening in the middle of the street, checked out some casino's and watched a few shows, like the dog show, in Circus Circus.









The dog is wearing a dress and walking the other dog, he he.....



I just had to take a shot of this police car because I am such a huge fan of Reno 911 the cable TV show.



Well we are here performing at the Artown Festival of Reno and our first gigs venue is on a delta in the middle of the Truckee River that runs through downtown.





The water is crystal clear and people swim and ride tyre tubes down it all day long. We had a camper-van as an onsite dressing room.

The performances went really well and then as a treat we were supplied with a fully stocked limousine to take us back to the hotel. It was much appreciated and the driver went slow so we could enjoy it. What a legend!







Needless to say we were in fine spirits when we got back. We have two performances at the Nugget tomorrow to mark the 4th July Celebrations and then we are off to Denver Colorado and NEW YORK !!!! Studio 54 here I come.
