• weakly implies -D__MSVC_RUNTIME_CHECKS
• is incompatible with /clr (including /clr:noAssembly), /O1, /O2, /Og and /Ox

The implied definition of the __MSVC_RUNTIME_CHECKS macro is done in such a way that /U and /u cannot undefine it.
