Rail Motors
| A number of QR
2000 class rail motors also work on the Zig Zag, usually during the
mid-week. These distinctive rail motors were built in stainless
steel by Commonwealth Engineering of Rocklea, Brisbane during the
1960's. The rail motors originally worked on Queensland branch lines before
being purchased for preservation and use on the Zig Zag.
