arrangement. It was built by Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows,
Lancashire in 1954 for the Victorian Government Railways.

is a coal-burning freight locomotive with a 2-8-0 wheel
arrangement. It was built by the Victorian Railways in 1940, and
retired in 1977 after several years of shunting at the Bendigo railway
workshops. K160 has been restored to working order but
unfortunately hasn't been in steam when I have visited :-(

displayed in the goods yard at Maldon.

646 is a 4-6-0 passenger locomotive, built by the Victorian Railways in
1905. It was retired in 1967 and preserved outside Maryborough railway station for many
years before being acquired by the Victorian Goldfields Railway. It now awaits
restoration to working order.

1892, originally for
hauling Melbourne suburban trains. Following electrification of the
Melbourne suburban system, it was rebuilt for shunting service and used
in this capacity until retired in 1972.
