How to Make IMAGES TRANSPARENT
 
  • Create in Appleworks or MSWord and capture.
  • Open 'Paintshop Pro' and then open the image file.
  • Click on COLORS then SET PALETTE TRANSPARENCY
  • Move mouse, which is now EYEDROPPER, over the background.
  • Click on the background.
  • Check the number that appears in the dialogue box.
  • 255 is pure white but whatever number comes up is the colour of the background and OK.
  • SAVE as a GIF file (only picture format that accepts transparency for NET)
