How to make images

into animation

Step 1:

keep 'Apple Works Office' document open
click on OPTIONS then HIDE GRAPHICS GRID
open 'PaintShop Pro'
click on CAPTURE then START (SHIFT_C)
scroll document so can see all of first image
position mouse in one corner
RIGHT click then LEFT click and let go
move mouse to draw tight frame around image
watch the dimensions; use similar for all images

click LEFT mouse button to complete the 'grab'

Step 3:

open 'Paintshop pro: Animation'
click on FILE then ANIMATION WIZARD
keep clicking on NEXT, keeping defaults UNTIL...
change timing from 10 (1/100th of a sec) to 4
(can experiment with this)
click ADD IMAGE when white blank box appears
select the first image SANTA1
hold SHIFT and click on SANTA4
(or whatever the last image is)
all images should now be highlighted
click OPEN, NEXT, FINISH
click on ANIMATION button to see animation
save with a name using 'ani' (eg SANTAani)
NEXT, NEXT, FINISH

Step 2:

captured image will appear in 'PaintShop Pro'
click on FILE then SAVE AS
give the image a name (eg Santa1)
change the file type to GIF
repeat Steps 1 and 2 for each image
save at least 4 images for animation

Step 4:

save using ANI as part of the file name
insert into a web page
position cursor, click on INSERT IMAGE button
animation can be centred and resized
RIGHT click on image
then click on IMAGE PROPERTIES
change dimensions keeping in proportion
