SAY GOODBYE TO WOLVES

Both lions and wolves are in danger of extinction. This and its companion piece "Say Goodbye to Lions" attempt to embody the spirit of each species. They are near skeletons, crying out in anguish and anger at the loss of their kind. They are gargoyle-like to suggest that these animals are things of the past, not understood in terms of today’s societies and they are black to be death-like and shadows of themselves.
