Class 1 rifle : Original or replica MILITARY issue rifle. Minie or round ball only. Minimum calibre .531". Sights as issued. Sights with windage adjustment, or major alterations. No set triggers.

Class 2 rifle : Original or replica TRADITIONAL style patched ball rifle, flint or percussion. Round ball only. (Class 1 rifles using round ball not permitted in Class 2 events). Any calibre. Original open style sights as on originals.

Class 3 rifle : Any original or replica muzzle loading rifle. Rifles which qualify as a Class 1 or 2 are included in this class. Any type of projectile. Any calibre. Any type of non-optical sights.

Shotgun : Maximum calibre 11 gauge. Maximum powder charge 95 gr. Maximum shot charge 1-1/4 oz. Percussion or flint lock. Single or double barrel. May be choked.
