TEST 172-Male

Something important occurred in the life of this man on 1st April 2010 when he was living in Sydney Australia. Can you determine the event by astrological means? It was one of the following:

1. He moved house
2. He bought a new computer.
3. He started a new job.
4. He had surgery for a hernia.
5. He opened his own Website.

The exercise is open to any astrologer who wants to test or improve his skills. There are no costs and registration is not needed.

Use any astrological charts or techniques of your choice. I will email the relevant Age-Harmonic Chart to anyone who requests it.

ANSWER

The answer is given immediately by the powerful Angular conjunction of Uranus and Pluto. Its primary meaning is revolutionary change. It rules the 1st and 10th Houses (the native and his career). This is supported by the Moon in the House of Employment and Moon sextile Mercury (tasks to be done).

I have been doubting between 1 and 3 but because of the fact that in the Age Harmonic Chart Pluto and Uranus are the two closest planets of all I think he started a new job.

Test 172. My answer is per Tropical Astrology: He started a new job.
In Lunar Revolution, starting on 23/03/2010 Sun, Lord of 2nd House is in Aries, in 10 House (job) trine Mars in Leo in 1st House. Mars is Lord of 5th and 10th House and Sun of the House of money.(orb 1,11).
In Age Harmonic, Uranus/Pluto in 7th House (orb 0,05). Another supporting aspect is Moon sextile Mercury. Moon in 6th House (service) in Cancer. Mars Lord of 10th House right on the Asc and of 3rd House (contracts) is another important conjunction confirming the event.

The transits indicate a time of change or challenge.
Tr Sa (12L) aspects Ascendant with close orb and Tr Uranus is conjunct Ascendant (also 10H from Moon).
This could indicate career change or moving house.
Tr Pluto had been close to the MC in previous months and Tr 10L Ju was in 12H.
Tr Sun was in the Ascendant and also 10H from Natal Moon so I would go for starting new job.


The most popular options among participants were surgery for a hernia and the opening of a Website.
Uranus conjunct Pluto in the Age Harmonic Chart is against surgery as there is no connection with Mars or the 8th House.
For a website one would expect significant involvement of the 9th and 3rd Houses but there is no such here.

It is a help to the right conclusion if, after determining the Dominant Factor, you consider whether it fits any of the other possibilities listed.
