TEST 152-Female

Test 152 concerns a woman born on 20 Oct 1976 at 0:21 am EDT in St Catharines, Canada. Her Horoscope of Birth appears below.

The woman is married, works as a dentist and is in the process of changing careers by attending a University Teacher’s College. There are no children. She continues to work on Saturday as a dentist to retain her license while she attends Teacher’s College full time.

The Test is to determine astrologically which one of the following five possibilities occurred in her home town on 20 November 2008. Only one is true, the rest are fictitious.

1. She fell in love with her College professor.
2. She became pregnant.
3. She moved into a new house.
4. A dear friend recovered from serious illness.
5. She bought a new car.

The Month Harmonic Chart shows the answer immediately:


The two Angular Significators are Fortuna and Mars. The T-square (Fortuna, Mars, Asc) links the 4th Sector (houses) with the 3rd Sector ruled by Mars (removals) and the Ascendant (the native).

Hence, the only fitting option is that she moved into a new house. No lengthy analysis needed. The elegant simplicity of the Age Harmonic Chart is a welcome relief from abstruse and often unnecessary complications.

Twenty-four respondents emailed their results to me. Seven found the right answer. Here are the correct solutions, in order of receipt.

The strongest Aspect in the DAY Harmonic Chart (see below) is
Asc Ruler Saturn square 4 Ruler Venus.
MC Ruler Pluto on the IC squares the Asc.
The Vertex is trine Mars, MC Ruler.
I presume she moved into a new house.

In Lahiri AS 8°34 Cancer /Moon 21°11 Leo On 20 November 08 Rahu/Rahu/Saturn Rahu in IV Natal close to MEP can indicate something in relation with house, friends, love and child ( because with lord V ) or car too.
Rahu in general gives transformation, movment and/or sudden event.
About pregnancy it’s very difficult to say which day woman became pregnant so I eliminate this option.
Rahu is close to Mars in IV can indicate something with love/sexuality (Mars) or car because Mars signifies all mechanical things and also real estate. Saturn is karaka for real estate too.
Saturn transit in II with Moon (house) natal and transit can give transformation and real estate too with family.
Rahu T in VII can give event in relation with purchase.
Maybe she moved into a new house.

Dasha (major period) and Bhukti (sub period) lord Rahu signifies H4, H11 and H6 and is connected to Mars by conjunction. House 6 and 11 represent receipt of loan (mortgage) and house 4 shows immovable property/vehicle.
Since it is not connected to Ven, the option of buying a new car automatically gets eliminated. Secondly because there is no signification to H5 representing love or child birth first two options also get eliminated. As far as the option of recovery of friend is concerned, signification of houses 3 (5th from 11th house) and 9 (11th from 11th house) which show recovery are absent. So this option also gets eliminated.
Antara (sub-sub period) lord Saturn signifies H4 (immovable property) and H12 (expenditure or investment) thus strengthening the option of new house.
Sookshma (sub-sub-sub period) lord Moon also supports the option of moving into new house by signifying H4, H6 and H11. Incidentally Moon’s signification of H3 (12th to H4) also suggests change in residence.

Also shown by Venus ruler Natal and Harmonic 4th Cusp square Asc-Ruler Saturn, and Moon square the floating MC (domestic change). Saturn in 3rd (Removal) is trine 3rd-Ruler Mars. Asc - Sun/Uranus = change of residence.

The Age Harmonic Chart (32.08556) shows the following:
The most significant feature is the running conjunction in the 6th of Jupiter, Uranus and Venus. Uranus (change) is the Chart Ruler, Venus rules the 4th (home), Jupiter indicates expansion and rules the 11th (wishes fulfilled).
Saturn (real estate) in the 3rd (removals) squares these three planets. The tightest Ptolemaic aspect (0°08) is Mars, ruler of the 3rd, trine Vertex in the 3rd, emphasising the matters of this House.
The Natal Chart shows Solar-Arc Directed Moon at 16 Libra 54 triggering the Natal 4th House cusp. She moved into a new house.
