Archival Test 2 – Girl

Continuing the review of Tests Archived in Astrologer’s Forum, here is the Birth Chart of a girl born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on November 16 1978, at 7:17 pm CST.

The Test Question is: What occurred in her life on 4th August 1990?

Treat this as a learning exercise. Before looking at the working out below, see what conclusion you would come to after studying relevant astrological factors. The more effort and thought you put into this the more you will gain from it. Refer to Instalment 49 (Archive Test 1) for suggestions about how to proceed.

Following the method of Instalment 49, first look for any Stations of planets near the date of the event. There will always be one, either to a single Significator or a Midpoint, if the event is important in the subject’s life, and it will give a lead to the nature of the occasion.

In the present case, Pluto is Stationary (turning Direct) on 25 July 1990 at 14Sc58. Here it is close to Natal Uranus at 17Sc12 – not a good omen. Investigation of the Natal Midpoints Listing uncovers an even worse conjunction: Pluto conjunct Mars/Pluto at 14Sc27, a grim portent of violence.

Secondly, look for clarification with an appropriate chart, for instance the Age Harmonic Chart for the precise day of the event or a cyclic chart such as a Solar or Lunar Return, the Solar-Month Chart or the Lunar Phase Chart.

The Age Harmonic Figure above has two main features: The first is the tight square between Jupiter and Pluto. This linking of Pluto (death) and Jupiter ruling the 8th House, has the dire implication of violence and fatality.
The second feature is the conjunction in the Earth Sign Taurus of Venus (ruling the Ascendant) and Mars ruling the 7th House - sexual assault by a stranger.

It is noteworthy also that Stationary Pluto at 14Sc58 closely conjuncts the Scorpio Sun ruling the 4th House (end of life). The 4th House also rules the grave. Neptune there, square the Sun and Moon, indicates a hidden grave.

These deductions are consonant with the Natal Figure which has Mars opposite EqA and square Saturn; planets in Scorpio in the 5th House.

So the conclusion is: The ill-fated girl was sexually assaulted, murdered and left in a concealed grave.

In the Above Chart the Ruler, Mars, is on the 8th (Porphyry) Cusp (death).
Venus, ruling the 7th House (a stranger) is afflicted by the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune (a patho-
logical expression of the sex-urge).
Uranus square Vertex: A sudden stroke of Destiny.
Jupiter in the 4th House ruling the 12th and opposite Neptune - a concealed grave.

Progressing the Solar Return by the normal transiting rate of the planets to the date of the event brings Pluto opposite Mars and Neptune opposite the Vertex, with orbs less than one degree (see Chart below).

Further confirmation is provided by the girl’s DAY Chart of 4 Aug 1990. To get this easily, simply enter 4 August 1990 in place of the actual birth date in the Natal Chart. (If the event had occurred in a different place, change the location also).

The prominent and very close opposition of Pluto and Mars in a T-Square with the Sun amply and tragically confirms the diagnosis of violence and death. Neptune in the 12th House opposite Fortuna and trine Mars indicates concealment.

The Facts
Nick Sutherland (USA) supplied the following information regarding this case: Shortly before noon on August 4, 1990, this 11-year old girl separated from a friend less than a mile from her home and disappeared. They were walking towards the girl’s house along a wooded, deserted stretch of Stahl Road after spending the night together. A red car reportedly drove past the girls three times just before the disappearance, which was reported to authorities at 12:01 pm.
A three-week search for the girl ended on Saturday, 25 August 1990. Her body was found by a rancher around 4:30 pm in a desolate area about eight miles North of Wimberley, Texas. She had apparently been bound with ligatures, wrapped in a blanket, and stuffed inside some plastic bags. The bundle was tied together with rope. The state of decomposition of the body indicted the girl may have been killed shortly after her abduction. The identification was made through dental records.
So far the case has not been resolved. The father is in the military. His boss was and still is under suspicion but nothing has ever been proved.
