TEST 136 - Female
Here is the Birth Figure of a woman born in Myszyniec, Poland (53N24, 21E21) on 1 Feb 1950 at 2:13 pm CET.
The woman is now resident in Adelaide, Australia (34S55, 138E35). She is a housewife, married, and has one son.
An important event occurred in her life on 30 August 2007 (just two days ago). Can you determine astrologically what it was?
This Test is more advanced than previous ones in that no choices are given, so it is proportionately harder but it is the sort of predictive problem that faces the astrologer in ordinary life.
The Test is open to every astrologer. There are no costs, nor is registration requested. The correct answer will be posted to this Site on 15 September together with any correct analysis received from participants. For those who use Age Harmonics, here is the subject’s Harmonic Chart for 30 Aug 2007. It contains the answer, so it is in effect a chart-reading exercise.but you can use any auxiliary astrological method or chart of your choice.
ANSWER
The woman had a cancerous kidney excised.
In the Age Harmonic Chart above for 30 August 2007, the date of the surgery, the dominant feature is the Sun trine Venus. The Sun rules the 8th House and Venus is in Scorpio. These are two pointers to surgery. It is confirmed by Mars, the Dispositor of Venus, opposing Saturn, Ruler of the Ascendant (the physical body) in the 8th House, square to Jupiter ruling the 12th House (hospitalization). Mercury square Pluto is further indicative of surgery. Venus rules the kidneys.
The Solar Month Chart (precessed) is usually second only to the Age Harmonic Chart for giving the best indications. Here it is for the month 6 Aug 2007 – 6 Sep 2007:
The closest Aspect in this Chart (and the most important feature) is Saturn trine Pluto. These planets rule respectively the 8th House (surgery) and the 6th House (illness). Both of them also Aspect the Equatorial Ascendant which, like the normal Ascendant, affects the physical body.
If the above Solar Month Chart is progressed (by the Solar Fire facility) to 30 August 2007 at the normal transiting rate of the planets we come to a clear representation of the surgery – Mars in the 12th House (hospitals) closely trine to The Vertex in the 8th House (major surgery).

My analysis is based on Vedic Astrology. The native has a 28Gem19 rising. Using Vimshottari dasha, the period corresponds to Venus-Jupiter-Rahu-Rahu. Jupiter is conjunct Venus and Rahu is disposited by Jupiter. Hence, it appears that Jupiter is driving the event. Jupiter is debilitated and sitting in the 8th House, conjunct 12th lord. Both debilitated Jupiter and 12th lord Venus (Retrograde) have severely afflicted Sun. Sun represents heart and bones. I expect a problem in these areas.
And, Moon is weak being close to Sandhi and is aspected by debilitated Jupiter and 12th lord Venus. Hence, even Moon is afflicted. Moreover Moon is in the nakshatra of debilitated Jupiter. Moon represents Lungs. Both the 3rd House/lord (Lungs) and 4th House/lord (heart) are also afflicted in the Chart.
Mars is aspecting Rahu, indicating surgery/accident in the sub-sub period of Rahu. The driver of the event Jupiter also aspects Mars. My conclusion is that this lady underwent a surgery or had an accident on August 30, 2007. As Moon is aspecting Jupiter, Sun and Venus, I feel surgery is more appropriate than accident.
KHAS (India):
She would have undergone surgery. The surgery should be either in Gall Bladder/Heart/Head.
Reasons:
- On reading the Ascendant, I understand that the native is prone to disease in either 6th part (Stomach region) or 5th Part (Heart) or 1st (Head).
- DBASP on 30th August 07 is Ve-Ju-Ra-Ju-Sa. All these planets concentrating the 8th House combined with Sun Moon transit concentrating 8th House.
- The event should be 8th House related one as these planets operates 8th House at Star Level.
Christine Kasper and Fenneke Monchen (Holland) were very close, deducing surgery but attributing it to the husband instead of the woman herself:
We used Vedic astrology, Lahiri.
We think her husband had surgery. She was running Venus/Jupiter/Rahu/Rahu. Venus and Jupiter both have to do with husband and they are in her Navamsha in a 2/12 relation, which is not good. Jupiter/Rahu are in a 6/8 relation, also not good. Venus is lord of the 12th, hospital. Jupiter is lord of the 7th, partner and sitting in the 8th from the 7th, surgery for partner. Rahu is in the 6th from Jupiter: disease partner.
KB Jain (India) detected disease but not the surgery:
Current Dasa is Venus-Jup-Rahu-Jup-Saturn. As per Horoscope, these planets are capable making the native prone to disease. According to me, the Native is down with fever on 30-8-2007.
