The boy nearly drowned but was resuscitated. The father was holding the boy in a public swimming pool when he had a diabetic attack so both went under. The little boy was found lying face down and was quickly hauled out and worked on by a pool life guard. The father was found on the bottom and was worked on by two life guards and given oxygen. He remained in an induced coma for 27 hours with lowered body temperature. As they began to raise the temperature he woke up and said “What am I doing here?” He has had short term memory loss but the neurologist said he was fine. He was in good physical shape and pulled through better than the medicos thought he would. They were both very lucky. Two doctors were swimming there at the time so they had all the help they needed.
The clearest astrological picture of the event is the Age Harmonic Chart of 19 Dec 2003. 3:47 am.

The CLOSE Aspects tell the story.
The most important feature of the Chart is the closest Aspect -- Saturn on the Ascendant square to the Moon (both at 0°49'!). It is an immediate indicator of a near fatality. Mars square the Rising Degree (orb 18') from the Terminal 4th Cusp emphasizes the threat.
The Sun in a Water Sign ruling the House of Death and trine to Neptune (orb 41') indicates that water was the type of hazard involved.
The second closest inter-planetary Aspect, Pluto sextile Mercury ruling the House of Illness shows resuscitation of the breathing (Mercury). Fortuna aspecting both Pluto and Mercury emphasizes the rescue.
Pluto not only destroys but rebuilds and revives.
Though only one correct answer was received from Respondents those who diagnosed that the boy and his father were rescued after their boat sank were very close (Michel Deloore, Fenneke Monchen, Anand, Helen Bowering, Remi Panisset, Serge Boissinot). An essential element for 100% correctness of the answer was the recognition of the resuscitation by Pluto.
The single 100% correct answer came from Sjakkie Govers (Netherlands) who sent the following model answer:
I think the answer is option 2: he nearly drowned but was resuscitated.
I used the Harmonic Chart 2,686784, which covers the date 26 August 2006.
