Instalment 12 was about predicting an event in a person’s life. This Instalment 13 reverses the procedure—find the date when an event occurred, which is a useful and educative exercise.
Below is the Birth Horoscope of a man born in St Louis, Missouri, USA, on 21ST March 1928 at 3:15 pm.

On a certain date in the year 2001 the man moved from where he was living in Detroit, Michigan, into a new, larger and more luxurious residence in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He called it his “đream home”.
Our task is to find the date when this occurred.
For Western astrologers, the task is relatively easy and quick if you use the Stations of the Planets as described in the previous Instalments (11, 7). As this removal is an important event in the man’s life it will be sign-posted by a Stationary Planet.
You have an advantage if you possess Solar Fire or another Program that will print out the Stations in a list on their own. But even without that facility, it will still save labour if you manually make a list from the Ephemeris.
Here is the method, successful in the past and spelled out in detail:
Step 1. List the Stations of all the planets within the period given, 1 Sep 2000 to 1 Sep 2001. Observe which of the Stationed planets excites an appropriate Significator in the Radix. The one that does will give the approximate time of the event.
Step 2. Confirm your choice in Step 1 by reference to a Monthly or Weekly Cyclic Chart (Solar Month, Harmonic Month, Phase Return, Lunar Return, or Lunar Week) that covers the approximate date. The Chart should have an Aspect that is consonant with home removal to confirm that you have the right period. Look for involvement of the 3rd House (removals) with the Moon or Uranus (change).
Step 3. Find the exact date of the removal by searching in a period 10 days before to 10 days after the date of the Station selected. This can be done in several ways by using one or more of the following:
It is quicker if you have narrowed down the time to a Lunar Week Chart (Quarti-Lunar Return) which calls for a search of only seven days.
Step 1. Uranus Stationary at 24Aq50 on 30 May 2001 gives an immediate clue. It is opposite the Ascendant at 25Le58 (change of environment). This first step is the most important, so you should check all the Stations carefully.
Step 2. The period around 30th May is confirmed by all the Cyclic Charts mentioned above. Taking one example, the Solar Month Chart (precessed) of 22 May 2001 at Detroit (where the man was living) has Jupiter ruling the Ascendant (the man) and also the 3rd House (removals) closely sextile Venus on the 4th Cusp (the home).

Another example is the Age Harmonic Chart 73.16788 which applies to the month 21 May—21 June 2001. Uranus and Saturn are conjunct on the Ascendant (change), Saturn ruling both 3rd and 4th Houses (removal and home). The Sun is trine Neptune in the 3rd House (removal to "dream" home).

You will gain most from these examples if you print out the Charts and mark in the conjunctions and Aspects.
Step 3. Find the exact day of removal.
Again, you have several procedures available. Here are three:

All indicators point to 23 May 2001 which was in fact, the exact date of the removal.
