Players have 14 letters, selected at random, to play 2 words each turn. Each
letter is worth 1 point. Score by counting the number of letters in the words
played and apply the bonuses and penalties that are covered. Extra Word
bonuses are available and when covered, mean the Player refills to 14 letters
and plays an Extra Word during that turn.
Using
14 letters or more during one turn is not uncommon. The idea is to discover
your longest words and work out the best way to play them. The nature of the
game means the words spread quickly with long words being possible regularly.
This creates an open style game that involves combining attacking strategies
with creative word building skill.
The
game can also be played as a fascinating solo puzzle. The aim is to try and
score 575+ to become a DUOSPECIALISTÔ. It is possible to cover every
bonus and not necessarily score 575. However, it is also possible to score
800+ when you are a fully-fledged DUOSPECIALISTÔ. Try it out at
