Hi! My name is Hebe. I am a Lakeland Terrier.

I am named after Hebe, the Goddess of eternal youth. My humans think I am absolutely adorable. I was born on 16 December 1996.  My kennel name is Cairnwell Kindred Spirit, and I have American and British champions for Grandparents. Here is my family tree. In the photo on the left you can see that I am a hairy little beast. That is because it was taken in Winter, and winters in Canberra (the capital of Australia) are very cold. In Summer I have a clip and look very smart.  You can see more gorgeous pictures here. You can see some of my relatives by following this link. I have met some very good friends through the WWW. You can meet them too, by following this link to Maddie the Mad Dog's home page! You can meet some of my Australian friends at PetEvents.com.au.

This picture was taken not long after I arrived in my new home. A five hour car trip was a bit much for a 12 week old pup.

This was my mate Jessie. Jessie was as large as a labrador, but had hair like an Old English Sheepdog. She had a lovely nature (much nicer than mine, I am told!)

Unfortunately, Jessie passed away on 16 May 1998 aged nearly 16. I miss her company.

Now what does that fool think he is doing? Putting a CAT on MY page?!

Ohhh WOOF.

Bad Tempered Tilly Tait
This was Bad Tempered Tilly (that's short for Matilda) Tait. Tilly passed away on July 22, 2000 aged nearly 19 years. In this photo she is being pathetic, as usual. I really did not understand why my humans fawned over her so much. Just because she was old. She wormed her way into their lap like this, even putting up with the humiliation of a plastic cap! But when I tried to get on the lap too, she just hissed and spat at me. When I wanted to play chasey (with her being chased of course) all she did was box my ears. (She had VelociRaptor sharp claws). No sense of humour. AND the humans always took her side!
