Hunters Hill Rugby Club Under 12's Tour 2003

The bad news is the Hong Kong Tour is cancelled and the good news is the Hong Kong Tour is cancelled!!

As a result of primarily terrorisn concerns we were down to only 11 firm tourers and with the travel agent requiring further payment as at 31 December we decided to pull the plug.  

However we are hoping to go ahead with a domestic tour to Canberra & Young on the second weekend of the Easter school holidays. Details are availabe if you contact me - we hope not only the Hong Kong tourers but others who were unable to make that for a variety of reasons will be able to join us this time around. Parental attendance not required but definitely welcomed and the cost a much more modest $300.

Aussie ANZAC Outback Adventure!

Thursday April 24th ~ hop on the bus (air-conditioned luxury express with onboard TV/video and of course a loo) and trundle down the freeway to Canberra.

Friday April 25th ANZAC Day ~ attend the Dawn Service in the national capital.

That afternoon we'll play our first tour match against a local Canberra team.

Saturday April 26th ~ on the bus, down the road to Young for a round robin series of games against local kids from Young, Harden and Cootamundra.

That night weíll have a big Aussie barbie and bonfire night!

Sunday April 27th ~ back up the Freeway, exhausted but happy, heading for home in time for an early dinner.

Want to play Rugby and have fun? We had a great season last year and we are looking for more players for 2003. The Club has Junior teams playing in the U7 - U12 Gordon competition.
