Hunt is added

to 'Eat' recipe

Oscar-winning actress Linda Hunt ("The Year of Living Dangerously") has been added to the cast of "Eat Your Heart Out."

"Eat," a comedy about the romantic escapades of a TV cook show host, is the debut effort of director Felix Adlon, the son of "Bagdad Cafe's" helmer, Percy Adlon.

Financing will be provided by South Korea's Lotte Group, Adlon's Pelemele Film GmbH, and the German TV giant Pro-Sieben.

Production is slated to begin in July in Los Angeles. Percy and Eleonore Adlon also produce. Daniel Suh is on board as exec producer. Raquel Carreras ("Destiny Turns on the Radio") will produce the film. n

Craig set to

'Eat Your Heart'

John Craig has joined the cast of indie feature "Eat Your Heart Out," currently filming in Los Angeles.

Directed by Felix Adlon and produced by Percy Adlon (who directed "Bagdad Cafe" and "Sugar Babies") and Eleonore Adlon, the film was written by Felix Adlon and Laura Slakey.

Linda Hunt, Laura San Giacomo, Christian Oliver, Jackie Guerra and Pamela Segall will star in this romantic comedy about what happens to three roommates when one gets "discovered" and "goes Hollywood."

Craig, one of the three roommates, plays a young butcher named Peter.

Craig's other credits include "Live Nude Girls" and an appearance on "ER."

The deal was negotiated by Steve Simon and Gwenn Pepper at ACME Talent & Literary.
