Conveyancing

Notes

Following is an index of the notes under this topic. These notes were prepared for the TAFE course for real estate agents. Bear in mind that the notes on the standard contract will be a little out-dated once the new version of the contract starts to be used shortly.

If your looking for something in particular in a long chapter try using "Find" on your browser to save time.

I'm sorry but I haven't finished the headings emphasised the footnotes as yet. I'll fix this up and add links from a table of contents at the start of each chapter.

  1. Contents
  2. Introduction
  3. The standard contract for sale of land
  4. Inquiries
  5. Completion or settlement
  6. Options
  7. Taxation aspects
  8. Future directions in conveyancing
  9. Special conditions

House

Spreadsheets

Following is a list of spreadsheets useful for conveyancing. They have been produced using Excel 3. The tricky ones are the settlement statements. Lots of variations can occur and the spreadsheet often has to be changed to suit the particular settlement. If you want to download a settlement statement you must download "Rates Paid". The data all the other settlement statements use is linked to "Rates Paid".

  1. Estimate of costs of buying or selling land
  2. Settlement statements
