Bodgy Tatts-some of our friends have 'em...some of us have 'em...yeah bodgy tatts. An icon we've turned into a song and released on CD alongside four other tracks. It's a DIY release which has us cutting, folding and sticking 500 cardboard covers. A lot's been happening since we last put out a newletter thingy, in the last year we've headed north three times. the first time saw us up to Brisbane for the excellent 4ZZZ Market Day, next time we went to Lismore for a Students and Sustainability Conference gig and from there up to the GoldCoast and Brisbane again. Recently we went to Canberra to play the Uni Stone Day and on to Sydney where we played an in-store at Black Rose, the anarchist book shop and a gig in Newtown. Back in Melbourne we've been playing heaps. Some of our favourites would be the squat gigs at the Brown Warehouse (RIP), with Citizen Fish at the Arthouse and the pirate stage during the Brunswick Street Festival where an unofficial stage was set up in a back alley and the punkers came out of the woodwork and it went off...The gig in a warehouse after Critical Mass was ace too. We have a track on the Riot on Ramsay St CD, a benefit for Barricade Books which features local punk and radical bands. Our contribution is "Robin Hood" a song we recorded in London a couple of years ago. We also have a track coming out on the Minute or Less CD, a comp of about sixty Melbournes bands doing short songs and it's a benefit for the Co-alition Against Freeway Extensions (CAFE).
