Crue – The Complete Online History of Mötley Crüe
Mötley
Crüe
is one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, having sold more
than 75 million albums, and they are renowned for taking everything to
the extreme. They have continued to evolve with every album since their
1981 independent debut, not afraid to branch out and set new benchmarks
that other artists follow.
Like the
band, Chronological Crue – www.CrueTime.com
- also takes things to extremes. This website provides a complete
history of the Crüe, and when we say complete – we mean COMPLETE. From
intricate details of band members’ childhoods, all the way through the
decadent history to the most current happenings– you’ll read about The
Sex, The Drugs, The Rock'n'Roll – it’s all there; Dirt and all.
Chronological
Crue is the brainchild of long-time Australian fan, Paul Miles.
"Many years ago, I began scouring mountains of magazines, books,
newspaper clippings, video tapes, audio tapes, etc. for dates and
facts. Editorialised articles and information was completely stripped
back to the bare facts, and completely re-written. I wanted the site to
be a timeline of the amazing history of the Crüe, and a website with
depth of content."
Fans and
music enthusiasts from around the globe have now been accessing the
site online since its launch on the 27th January 1997, the day vocalist
Vince Neil re-united with the Crüe onstage at the American Music
Awards after a five-year absence. Miles says, "The site became
accessible that morning, so Mötley fans could spend the day re-living
the memories, then later that evening witness the beginning of a new
chapter in Mötley Crüe history."
The site's
pages have now been read over five million times. Chronological Crue
has been featured in many publications around the world,
including Japan’s Bass Magazine, Penthouse magazine,
hard rockers’ favourite Metal Edge, even the band’s own
Electronic Press Kit. MTV & VH1 have both drawn
upon and credited the site for production of many TV programs on Mötley
Crüe. The award-winning site has also expanded to quench
the thirst of Crüeheads by including other features that are not only
informative for fans but also entertaining. Some of these include:

happened in the world of Mötley Crüe, it’ll soon be
there. Fans love that aspect." This page also provides the latest
