"If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all"
Mötley Crüe - Keep Your Eye On The Money - 1985

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER:
JOEL NORTH - Tifton, GA, USA

This is what Joel did to spread the word
 about The Heroin Diaries:

"My father owns his own advertising service in Florida. His advertising is pulling the banner behind the plane for all the people on the beach to read. well, I have some great friends down there and over the Thanksgiving weekend me and two of my buddies who are also diehard Crüe fans, spelled on the banner "SIXX A.M. GET THE MUSIC". We thought it was pretty cool and my dad flew the plane for about 2 hours up and down the beach. My parents are divorced and I only get to see my dad on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, but he has always been real cool to me. Actually, he was the one who turned me on to the Crüe because he used to listen to it all the time."

The Heroin Diaries

Chronological Crue and Simon & Schuster
offer YOU the chance to:

Win a signed hardcover book
plus a soundtrack CD

Here's your chance to win a signed copy of the amazing new hardcover book by Nikki Sixx diarising his year between Christmas 1986 and 1987.

The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star takes readers on one of the most breathless and harrowing rollercoaster rides in the history of pop music. At its heart lies the author’s nightmare come true: a punishing heroin addiction that brought him and the band to the edge of losing much more than just their spot on the charts. Serving up snapshots of rock culture at its most manic, Nikki’s look at triumph and tragedy is every bit as explosive as the musical odyssey it chronicles.

Plus, you can also win the first-ever soundtrack CD for a book, featuring the following songs by Sixx: A.M. - the new band with Nikki Sixx, James Michael and DJ Ashba.

The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack
1. X-Mas
2. Van Nuys
3. Life Is Beautiful
4. Pray For Me
5. Tomorrow
6. Accidents Can Happen
7. Intermission
8. Dead Man's Ballet
9. Heart Failure
10. Girl With Golden Eyes
11. Courtesy Call
12. Permission
13. Life After Death
