SUBMISSIONS NOW CLOSED - BOOK IS PUBLISHED, SEE HERE

Back in 2006, I published the book What Mötley Crüe Means to Me: Crüeheads Share Their Stories. It has since been out of print for many years.

Having re-released my other Mötley books last year, I've had a lot of queries from fans if this one will also be made available.

So, now I would like to welcome any fans to write a contributing piece. All submissions received will be reviewed and what I feel are the best, most interesting and inspiring contributions will be included in a new version of this book (with new cover art from the old one you see here.)

The original book featured contributions by 69 fans aged 11-41 from across the continents of North America, Europe, South America and Australia, who shared stories of the impact and inspiration that Mötley Crüe has had on their lives.

Your Submission Brief
In no more than 1,000 words (no images), explain what Mötley Crüe means to you. Some thought-starters to consider for your piece:

• When and how you first discovered the Crüe
• Why you still love Mötley so much today
• Any significant impacts they have made on your life
• How Mötley affected your darkest or brightest hour
• What song has a special meaning for you
• Who your favourite member of the Crüe is and why
• What lengths you have gone to in showing you are a true fan
  

Include your Full Name, Age, City and Country with your submission.

Submissions are to be emailed (in English) to Chronological Crue's Editor contact@paul-miles.com to be received no later than 30 April 2020. All submissions are in accordance with the Agreement detailed below.

If your submission was published in the original book, feel free to send another submission for inclusion in the new version.

AGREEMENT
By providing a submission to Chronological Crue (the “Publisher”), you confirm your consent by which you grant to the Publisher the right and license to use some or all of your personal statement submitted (the “Statement”) provided in connection with the Publisher’s product line entitled What Motley Crue Means To Me (the “Products”).

For good and valuable consideration you agree as follows:

1.    You hereby grant to the Publisher on gratis basis the exclusive right and license to (a) use, display, reproduce, publish, transmit, and distribute, in all languages throughout the world, the Statement in conjunction with the Products including all reprintings, subsequent editions, and/or derivative works thereof, whether now or hereafter known, and (b) use your name, age, city and country in conjunction with the Statement.

2.    You understand and agree that the Statement may appear in the text of the Products and may also appear (a) on the front or back cover or in the front matter of the Products, (b) in connection with the advertising and promotion of the Products and/or the Publisher, and (c) in all media in which the Products may appear or be reproduced.

2.    You understand and agree that the Statement may appear in an edited format due to (a) correction of spelling or grammatical modifications, (b) English language content flow, or (c) another reason.

3.    It is expressly understood, however, that the Publisher is under no obligation whatsoever to include any of the Statement in the Products.

4.    You represent and warrant that you have the full power to enter into this Agreement and grant the rights herein.

5.    You confirm that you are not a minor for legal consent purposes.

6.    You release the Publisher from all claims and expenses arising from its use of the Statement as herein specified.

By submitting a Statement to the Publisher, you acknowledge your full agreement with all the foregoing terms.
