My Holiday to Queensland

Bribie Island

There's a dog-beach at the far end of the beach at Bribie.  Strictly speaking its an on-leash beach.  Though if it is supposed to be possible to swim on-leash with a pack member without drowning each other, I wish someone would explain how to me.  Anyway, most people were doing what my pack did - leashed on the sand, off-leash (but under voice-control) in the water.

Bundaberg Rum

My pack & pals - all but one - went on a tour of the Rum Factory ... I couldn't go and they didn't leave me alone in the car because it was far too hot in Queensland to do that.  They bought some nice stuff which they wouldn't let me taste ... funny lot these humans.

Rockhampton

Tropic of Capricorn

This is me sitting on the actual Tropic of Capricorn!

On the left I am in the Temperate Zone and on the right I am in the Tropics

(... but it sure felt like the Tropics on both sides of the line ... I drank lots of water that day!)

Crossing Back to New South Wales

They told me I was having my photo taken on the State Border between NSW and Queensland.

I was underwhelmed ...

... but I sure cared when they told me that great beach over there wasn't a dog beach!  I stuck out my tongue.  So there.

Close-up of that tongue poking out at the non-dog beach ...
